Meridian Terms of Service

Key points

Meridian is a self-help and recovery-support tool. It is not medical care, therapy, diagnosis, or emergency support, and it does not replace professional treatment. It does not guarantee recovery or prevent relapse.

Acceptance

By creating an account or using Meridian, you agree to these Terms and the Meridian Privacy Policy.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old. Users under 18 may not create an account or use Meridian.

Subscriptions & free trial

Subscriptions are billed by Apple through the App Store. If you are eligible, a free trial may appear on the paywall for your Apple ID and Store product. After a trial, the subscription renews automatically at the localized price shown unless you cancel in Apple subscription settings at least 24 hours before renewal.

Deleting your Meridian account does not cancel Apple billing. Manage or cancel in App Store subscription settings. Refunds follow Apple’s policies.

Locke

Locke is an AI-powered recovery-support coach. It is not a therapist, doctor, counselor, crisis responder, or human. Outputs may be inaccurate. Do not rely on Locke for emergencies.

Recovery Protection

Adds friction using Apple Screen Time for apps and sites you select. It is not impossible to bypass and does not guarantee protection.

Governing law & disputes

Governing law: California, United States.

Dispute resolution: Parties agree to attempt informal resolution of disputes before pursuing legal action.

These Terms do not include an arbitration agreement or class-action waiver.
