Meridian collects account information and recovery-related information you choose to enter so we can provide recovery-support features, sync progress, operate Locke (AI coaching), and manage subscriptions through Apple.Service providers may receive data only as needed to run Meridian (for example backend, AI, and subscription infrastructure). Meridian does not use your recovery content for advertising.Meridian does not sell personal information.You can delete your Meridian account in Settings. Deleting the account does not cancel an Apple subscription — manage billing in App Store settings.
Meridian is for users 18 years of age or older only.
Information you provide
Account name and email; onboarding answers; check-ins, moods, urge levels, optional notes and reflections; goals and money estimates you enter; optional Why I Quit photo; Locke messages you send. Optional supporter SMS is sent through your device Messages app — Meridian does not upload your contacts.
Sensitive recovery information
Check-ins, urges, relapse reflections, journals, and Locke chats may be sensitive wellness information. We process them to provide Meridian’s features. Meridian does not claim HIPAA compliance.
Locke AI
Locke is an AI-powered recovery-support coach, not a therapist or emergency service. Responses may be inaccurate. Content may be sent to an AI provider to generate replies.
Recovery Protection
Uses Apple Screen Time controls for apps and websites you select. Opaque selection tokens stay on your device. Protection is not guaranteed and may be limited if Screen Time access is revoked.
Subscriptions
Payments are processed by Apple. Meridian receives subscription status through RevenueCat / Apple. Meridian does not store your card number.
